When you use CommentCraft, we collect:
- Account Information: Email address and password (hashed)
- Profile Information: Name, school name (optional)
- Usage Data: Student names, grades, subjects, traits, and generated comments that you input
- Payment Information: Processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the comment generation service
- To save your comment history for your convenience
- To process payments and manage subscriptions
- To improve our service
3. Student Data
We take student data seriously. Student names and comments you enter are:
- Stored securely in our database with row-level security
- Only accessible to you (the teacher who created them)
- Sent to OpenAI for comment generation (see their privacy policy)
- Never sold, shared, or used for advertising
- Deleted when you delete your account
4. Third-Party Services
- Supabase: Database and authentication
- OpenAI: AI comment generation
- Stripe: Payment processing
- Vercel: Hosting
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page.
6. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at support@optiflowbuild.com.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
